Japan Sound Quest Brings Legendary Video Game Music to Valencia This December

On December 18, Japan Sound Quest arrives in Valencia (Spain), becoming one of the largest video game music events ever held in Spain. At Shinyuden, we are proud to be part of the team bringing this incredible event to life.
Valencia’s Roig Arena will host a unique festival featuring some of Japan’s most celebrated video game composers, offering fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience legendary game music live on stage.
Nobuo Uematsu’s First Full Concert in Spain
Among the featured guests is a true legend of video game music: Nobuo Uematsu, the composer behind many of the most beloved themes from the Final Fantasy series. His music has touched millions of players around the world for decades, and Japan Sound Quest will mark the first time he performs a full concert in Spain.
Uematsu will be joined by his band conTIKI, promising an unforgettable performance. The group includes Chihiro Fujioka, director of Super Mario RPG, as well as Kumi Tanioka, known for her work on Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Super Smash Bros., and the recent Yoshi and the Mysterious Book.
The excitement doesn’t stop there. Japan Sound Quest will also welcome Noriyuki Iwadare, composer of iconic titles such as Gynoug, Gley Lancer, Lunar, and Grandia. Fans will have the chance to enjoy live performances of some of the most memorable music from his career.
